Day 1 – Arrival in Palermo
Welcome to Sicily! Upon your arrival at Palermo Falcone-Borsellino Airport, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in the city center. Begin your immersive journey with a guided walking tour of Palermo’s historic heart. Discover stunning Arab-Norman architecture, including the Royal Palace and Palermo Cathedral, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Lunch is at the bustling Ballarò Market where you’ll taste authentic Sicilian street food. Spend the afternoon wandering Palermo’s elegant shopping streets before a delicious dinner. End your day with a leisurely evening stroll soaking in Palermo’s vibrant night atmosphere.

Day 2 – Palermo’s Cultural Gems and Coastal Views
Dive deeper into Palermo’s rich history with visits to the Norman Castle and the exquisite Martorana Church. After a traditional lunch at the Capo Market, explore Palermo’s picturesque seafront, including the Trapezoidal Pier and Foro Italico gardens.
Dinner will feature Sicilian specialties, and you’ll enjoy another enchanting night walk before a private transfer to Sciacca for your first night near the riding trails.
Day 3 – Sciacca to Burgio: Begin the Ride
Today marks the start of your horseback adventure. After breakfast, prepare your horse for a scenic 7-hour ride along the stunning beaches of Monte Rotondo, Lumia, and San Giorgio. Traverse through fragrant olive groves and flourishing vineyards, soaking in breathtaking views of Sicily’s coastline and countryside.
Arrive in the charming village of Burgio in the late afternoon where your horses will be stabled. Enjoy a locally inspired lunch and explore the village’s authentic atmosphere. The day ends with a cozy dinner and well-earned rest.
Day 4 – Burgio to Altobellotta: History and Heritage
After a hearty breakfast, saddle up for the ride to Altobellotta. Arrive by midday and settle your horses comfortably. Lunch will showcase traditional Sicilian dishes. Spend the afternoon exploring Altobellotta’s historic streets and marvel at its majestic cathedral.

Day 5 – Altobellotta to Sambuca di Sicilia: Mountain Views
After a hearty breakfast, saddle up for the ride to Altobellotta. Arrive by midday and settle your horses comfortably. Lunch will showcase traditional Sicilian dishes. Spend the afternoon exploring Altobellotta’s historic streets and marvel at its majestic cathedral.

Day 6 – Sambuca to Sciacca: Final Ride and Exploration
Today you’ll ride back to Sciacca through beautiful landscapes, arriving mid-afternoon. Explore the town’s ancient Roman streets and local sights. Enjoy a final dinner with your group, celebrating the unique journey you’ve shared.
Day 7 – Palermo and Mondello: Coastal Beauty & Culture
